GTA6 Release Date: November 19, 2026

Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick confirmed at the company's Q4 FY2026 earnings call on May 21, 2026, that Grand Theft Auto VI will launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Zelnick stated: "Fiscal 2027 will establish new record levels of operating performance driven by the November 19th launch of Grand Theft Auto VI." Take-Two embedded the date into its official financial guidance of $8.0-8.2 billion in net bookings for fiscal year 2027.

The CEO acknowledged that the title is approximately 18 months behind its original internal target but stated explicitly that the game will not be delayed again. Sony has also confirmed a promotional partnership with Take-Two for GTA6.

This release date comes after the original 2025 window was pushed back. GTA6 is the first mainline entry since GTA5 in 2013 — a 13-year gap making it one of the most anticipated games in entertainment history.
